Position Overview
The Chartered Accountant (CA) will be responsible for leading the company's financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax management, and internal control functions in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of Indonesian taxation and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate is a certified Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA/CA Indonesia – IAI) with proven experience in corporate finance, auditing, and financial operations in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with PSAK and IFRS.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory reports to relevant regulatory bodies in Indonesia.
- Oversee the accuracy of the general ledger, journal entries, and financial reconciliations.
- Coordinate external audits and manage communication with auditors.
2. Taxation & Regulatory Management
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, especially in the area of
PPN (VAT)

PPN reporting
, including preparation, reconciliation, and submission of: - e-Faktur (Input & Output VAT)
- SPT Masa PPN
- VAT refund claims (when applicable)
- Monitor VAT obligations for cross-border transactions, digital goods/services, and local taxable events.
- Maintain proper documentation for VAT audits and liaise with DJP (Indonesian Tax Office) on VAT-related inquiries.
- Oversee compliance with other tax areas: PPh21/23/25/26 and Corporate Income Tax (PPh Badan).
3. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
- Conduct profitability analysis, cash flow planning, and cost-control reviews.
- Evaluate financial impact of VAT on pricing, contracts, input-output structure, and supply chain.
4. Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Establish and maintain strong internal control procedures in line with Indonesian regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and internal policies.
5. Treasury & Cash Management
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and banking operations.
- Oversee payments, collections, and financial transactions.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions in Indonesia.
- Monitor liquidity requirements related to tax payments, including scheduled VAT remittances.
6. Business Support
- Provide financial guidance to cross-functional teams (operations, HR, legal, procurement).
- Support management with financial modeling, investment evaluation, and business case analysis.
- Assist in corporate restructurings, expansions, and mergers (if applicable).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification:
Chartered Accountant (CA Indonesia – IAI), CPA, ACCA
, or equivalent. - Minimum
3–7 years
of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or corporate finance (preferably in Indonesia). - Strong knowledge of
PSAK, IFRS, and Indonesian taxation regulations
. - Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Jurnal, etc.) is a plus.
- Fluency in
Bahasa Indonesia
and good command of
