We are seeking an experienced PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) Manager to join our dynamic team at Goodwood home, a leading furniture manufacturer based in Jepara, Central Java. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes and inventory management, ensuring we meet our customers' demands efficiently and cost-effectively.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing effective production planning and control strategies to align supply and demand
- Overseeing the management of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory to minimize costs and maximize customer service levels
- Analyzing production data and forecasts to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Collaborating with the sales, production, and procurement teams to coordinate and synchronize operations
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the PPIC system
- Providing training and support to the production planning team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
- Implementing and maintaining effective inventory control systems, including the use of inventory management software
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a PPIC or production management role, preferably in the furniture trading and manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization principles
- Proficiency in using production planning and inventory management software, such as ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
