The role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team at PT. MULIA DJASMINE SENTOSA'. In this contract position based in Karawang, West Java, you will be responsible for providing cost estimating and quantity surveying services for our construction projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
- Analyse and interpret technical drawings, specifications and other project documentation
- Measure and quantify construction works, materials and resources required
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Monitor and report on project costs, identifying potential savings opportunities
- Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on cost-related matters
- Ensure compliance with relevant construction regulations and standards
What we're looking for
- 8+ years' post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction industry
- Proven track record in preparing detailed cost estimates and managing construction project budgets
- Strong technical skills in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. RICS, CIOB)
