Role Summary and Impact
As the Director, Senior HRBP for WPP Media in Indonesia, you will oversee HR Business partnering and lead learning & development strategy, aligning HR initiatives with business goals to drive exceptional organizational capability. This pivotal role is designed to shape the future of our talent and culture by establishing a clear HRBP structure and comprehensive talent development frameworks (including high-potential programs, succession planning, and workforce planning). You will significantly enhance talent development and cultivate a cohesive, high-performing culture, positioning HR as a proactive business enabler that drives growth and innovation across WPP Media agencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partnership:
Provide strategic HR partnership and counsel to senior leadership, acting as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters, organizational design, and talent strategy. - Leadership Development & Training:
Drive the design, development, and implementation of impactful leadership development and training programs that cultivate WPP Media's leadership pipeline and enhance managerial effectiveness. - Cultural Alignment & Engagement:
Champion cultural alignment across agencies, ensuring WPP Media's values are embedded in all people practices and fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment. - Talent Development Frameworks:
Establish and oversee comprehensive talent development frameworks, including high-potential programs, succession planning, and workforce planning initiatives, to address current and future capability needs. - HRBP Team Leadership:
Mentor and develop the HR Business Partner team, ensuring consistent, high-quality strategic HR support across all assigned clusters and functions. - Organizational Effectiveness:
Collaborate with leadership on reviewing team structures, span of control, and driving required recommendations to optimize organizational effectiveness and agility. - Performance Management Oversight:
Oversee and strategize performance management frameworks, including increment and bonus cycles, and partner with leaders on calibration processes to ensure fairness and effectiveness. - Talent Mobility & Redeployment:
Lead internal mobility and staff redeployment strategies, aligning business needs with employee skills and career goals to ensure optimal workforce utilization, business continuity, and talent retention. - Employee Relations & Compliance:
Provide oversight and guidance on complex employee relations issues, including investigations into complaints, disciplinary actions, and managing severance processes with compliance, fairness, and care. - Market Intelligence:
Review market adjustment requests from the business and support cross-functional projects like Job Architecture, Title projects, and Salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation.
What You Will Need
- Experience:
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a significant focus on HR Business Partnering at a senior leadership level, ideally within a dynamic, matrixed organization. - Strategic Thinking:
Ability to translate business strategies and objectives into organizational capability and talent requirements. - Influence:
Proven ability to influence at all levels of an organization, driving adoption of HR initiatives and cultural change. - Executive Coaching:
Demonstrated ability to provide executive coaching and counsel to senior leaders. - Change Management:
Expertise in leading and managing organizational change initiatives. - Organizational Development:
Strong background in designing and implementing organizational development strategies and talent frameworks. - Problem-Solving:
Ability to understand complex business challenges and be solutions-focused, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. - Resilience:
Resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, matrixed environment where priorities are constantly shifting. - Legal & Compliance:
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements in Indonesia. - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI SPHR) preferred.
