KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Responsible for sourcing any activities or services, cost negotiations, credit term and purchasing of raw materials and spare parts.
  • Issue Purchase Order to suppliers and follow up with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery or shipment of purchased items/goods/parts.
  • Ensure items are delivered in time and to the place required.
  • Ensure that the items are purchased from the source field.
  • Maintain a full record and coordinate with various suppliers and compare costs for purchasing requisition within the organization.
  • Submission of cost and prices reports to Head of Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, source and develop new potentials suppliers/ vendors for economical procurement.
  • Frequently communicates with operation department, logistic department and suppliers to come up with accurate PO delivery dates and exact lead-time for the procurement of items/goods/parts as well as keeping the system updated accordingly.
  • Responsible for material planning and inventory control.
  • Responsible for PO placement, delivery management scheduling, & resolution of quality issues.
  • Any other duties as deemed fit by the Head of Department.
  • Ensure the implementation and compliance with the requirement of API Specification Q1 10th Edition, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, API 6D 25th Edition, API 600 14th Edition, API 602 11th Edition, API 6A 21st Edition including Exclusion and other relevant standard related with acceptance criteria of products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Having min. 1 year experience in the related background.
  • Strong ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers for optimal pricing and terms.
  • Ability to analyze purchasing data and trends to make informed decisions and forecasts.
  • Knowledge of how to conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate market trends.
  • Good initiative and able to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Have good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Computer proficient.
  • Able to handle or adapt to certain workloads.
