Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
AI Engineer with expertise in Machine Vision Systems
to join our growing team. This role will focus on building robust image recognition and defect detection solutions for industrial applications, as well as developing applications and dashboards to visualize inspection data and integrate with client systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine vision solutions (image recognition, defect detection, OCR, classification, tracking).
- Train, fine-tune, and optimize computer vision models for real-world manufacturing environments.
- Integrate AI vision systems with cameras, sensors, conveyors, and robotics.
- Build user-friendly applications and dashboards to display real-time results, KPIs, and reports.
- Collaborate with design engineers and sales engineers to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Conduct performance testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of vision pipelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in
computer vision / AI for industrial applications
. - Strong proficiency in
Python
and libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. - Experience with OCR, image classification, segmentation, and defect detection.
- Experience developing
applications with dashboards
(e.g., using Flask/Django, FastAPI, or similar frameworks). - Strong understanding of industrial automation workflows.
- Ability to work independently and deliver solutions from concept to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience deploying AI vision systems on edge devices or embedded hardware.
- Familiarity with industrial cameras (GigE, USB3.0, line scan) and lighting systems.
- Knowledge of integration with PLCs, MES, or ERP systems.
- Previous work in manufacturing, robotics, or automation industries.
