Role OverviewArea Sales Manager will lead regional sales operations and offline market expansion, ensuring strong commercial performance and visibility within the assigned area.
This role requires a strategic yet hands‑on leader who can balance sales execution, team development, and distributor management, while maintaining close collaboration with both local and expatriate stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines data‑driven decision‑making with strong field leadership and agility in fast‑paced FMCG environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage sales, coverage, and distribution performance across the assigned region.
- Drive offline channel expansion and visibility, ensuring sustainable sell‑in and sell‑out growth across GT, MT, and other retail channels.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, sub‑distributors, and key trade partners to achieve business targets.
- Collaborate with trade marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to support business decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop sales teams, ensuring route effectiveness, discipline, and productivity.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional and expatriate leaders to align priorities and deliver consistent execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG managerial sales role.
- Proven success in distributor management, field leadership, and route‑to‑market implementation.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging expatriate leaders.
- Highly adaptable and results‑oriented, thriving in fast‑paced FMCG environments.
- Willingness to travel frequently to manage regional operations.

Client Details: Leading Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances
Responsibilities- Execute sell‑in and sell‑out activities to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly budget forecasts.
- Lead weekly team meetings to review revenue performance, campaign programs, booth expansion, promoter sales, and merchandising activities.
- Negotiate sales agreements with key dealers.
- Conduct market and dealer visits while supervising store operations.
- Manage product launches and sales campaign execution.
- Drive new product expansion initiatives.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Communications (Marcom) department on board procurement.
- Liaise with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team for product delivery and return processes.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team on product campaigns and dealer support programs.
- Work closely with the Finance and Accounting departments on AR, tax matters, and dealer support (AP) programs.
- Coordinate with the SOD Channel team regarding pricing and price list updates.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any major.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in branch operations and sales management, preferably in handling Consumer Electronics/Home Appliances products.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong leadership, people management, and negotiation skills.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and highly adaptable under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Skilled in market and competitor analysis, sales strategy, and relationship management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
