We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Center Facilities Management Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our client Data Centre. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth facilities management, compliance with regulations, team leadership, and strong collaboration with stakeholders to maintain operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations in line with Facilities Management of the Data Centre, ensuring facility functionality.
  • Prepare and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance programme.
  • Manage environmental resources, power management/distribution, risk management, safety, physical layout, cabling, and monitoring of data centre equipment.
  • Act as a 24x7 escalation point for data centre facility issues.
  • Plan and execute emergency response and escalation processes during emergencies.
  • Coordinate with end-users, IT, and operations teams for facilities maintenance activities.
  • Develop policies, document processes, and provide regular training for operations and engineering staff.
  • Establish standard operating procedures for FM functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and manage expectations.
  • Manage contract deliverables.
  • Forge strong vendor relationships and manage vendor SLA performance.
  • Review and assess lifecycle replacement programmes for all M&E equipment/systems.
  • Support business continuity and service restoration strategies.
  • Manage and monitor annual budget and expenditure.
  • Create opportunities and assist in meeting sales revenue targets.
  • Define tasks, objectives, and expectations for team members.
  • Provide clear direction and support to team members.
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency, importance, and resource availability.
  • Allocate resources to improve efficiency and productivity of team members.
  • Regularly monitor progress, provide feedback, and adjust task assignments as needed.
  • Encourage and motivate team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Regularly review and improve team management and task delegation practices.
  • Ability to travel overseas and expand business portfolios.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the FM Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Facilities Management, preferably in Data Centre environments.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, M&E systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel overseas when necessary.
  • Proficient in English.
