General Summary of Position
The Quantity Surveyor Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the end-to-end cost and contract management of all SM+ infrastructure projects, with a specific emphasis on our data center portfolio. This position ensures financial rigor and strategic oversight, driving precise cost estimation, optimizing procurement for value, and enforcing contract compliance. The role is instrumental in achieving timely and cost-effective project delivery, directly contributing to our overarching corporate governance and business objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and direct all quantity surveying functions for infrastructure projects, including comprehensive budgeting, estimating, tendering, and robust cost control measures.
  • Critically analyze and validate all Bills of Quantities (BoQ), architectural drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Maintain strict control over project budgets by ensuring the accuracy of all cost estimates and continuously monitoring financial performance.
  • Champion value engineering initiatives and conduct detailed feasibility studies to identify and implement cost optimization opportunities.
  • Administer the full contract lifecycle, from overseeing competitive tendering and negotiation to finalizing agreements with key vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of contractor claims and manage dispute resolution processes to mitigate risk.
  • Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Design & Building, Mechanical Engineering, and the Legal department, to ensure functional alignment.
  • Proactively track and report on market price fluctuations for materials and services, providing key insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver insightful reports on project costing, financial forecasting, and overall performance for executive review.

Profile Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10  years of relevant experience, preferably in data center or infrastructure projects.
  • Self-driven, with the capacity to work as an individual contributor in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in construction contracts, cost planning, and budgeting tools.
  • Familiar with Indonesian regulations and industry best practices.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software (e.g., CostX, AutoCAD).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
