Position Summary

The Marketing Officer is responsible for planning and executing marketing activities to promote Kawasan Ekowisata Gunung Pancar as a leading destination for nature‑based tourism and recreation. The role focuses on increasing visitor engagement, brand visibility, and partnership opportunities through creative campaigns, digital marketing, and community collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to attract visitors, tour operators, and corporate clients.
    • Create promotional campaigns aligned with the brand identity of Gunung Pancar as an eco‑friendly and sustainable tourism destination.
    • Coordinate seasonal or thematic events to increase visitor engagement.
    • Evaluate campaign performance and prepare reports for management.
  • 2. Digital Marketing & Communication
    • Manage digital channels (social media, website, online travel platforms) to maintain consistent branding and visibility.
    • Produce creative content — articles, posts, videos, and photography — that highlight the uniqueness of the eco‑tourism area.
    • Collaborate with influencers, media, and travel communities to expand digital reach.
    • Monitor online analytics and engagement metrics to optimize marketing strategies.
  • 3. Branding & Public Relations
    • Strengthen the image of Gunung Pancar as a sustainable and family‑friendly tourism destination.
    • Build and maintain relationships with local communities, media partners, and tourism agencies.
    • Represent the company in exhibitions, fairs, or tourism networking events.
  • 4. Business Development & Partnerships
    • Identify and approach potential partners (travel agents, event organizers, schools, corporations) for collaboration or package development.
    • Prepare proposals, pricing, and promotional materials for partners and clients.
    • Support revenue growth by developing attractive tourism packages and corporate programs.
  • 5. Coordination & Reporting
    • Work closely with the operational team to align marketing activities with site operations and visitor experience.
    • Prepare monthly marketing activity reports and performance updates for management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Tourism, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the tourism, hospitality, or event management industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative, proactive, and passionate about eco‑tourism and sustainability.
  • Willing to work in Gunung Pancar, Bogor, and adapt to outdoor/nature‑based environments.
