About the role
We are seeking a skilled Korean Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our team at PT Sodexo Indonesia in Cikarang. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Korean cuisine and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals in accordance with Sodexo's culinary standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in Korean cooking to contribute to a dynamic and quality-driven food services environment.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare, cook, and present a wide range of Korean dishes following established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food preparation and handling comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and sanitation in all kitchen areas
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist in daily inventory management
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to ensure menu consistency and timely service
- Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for Korean dishes
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff when required to ensure smooth operations
What we're looking for
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent in a high-quality Korean restaurant or catering setting
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of Korean cuisine and ingredients
- Willing and able to handle non-halal food
- Domiciled in Cikarang or nearby areas, as accommodation is not provided
- Good teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Understanding of kitchen safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
- Willingness to work on weekends as required
