About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer - Gas Engine to join our talented team at PT Cikarang Listrindo, Tbk' in North Cikarang, West Java. This full-time position will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our gas-powered electrical generation facilities.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components within our gas engine power plants
- Designing and implementing electrical upgrades and modifications to improve reliability and performance
- Conducting regular inspections and evaluations of electrical infrastructure to identify potential issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve technical challenges
- Staying up-to-date with the latest electrical engineering standards, technologies, and industry best practices
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to more junior members of the engineering team
What we're looking for
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the gas engine power plants
- Strong understanding of electrical system design, installation, and maintenance for gas-fired power plants
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant electrical safety regulations and best practices
