Role Description
Infineon Technologies is seeking a skilled Steam Forger for a full-time, on-site role at its Jakarta, Indonesia location. As a Steam Forger, you will oversee and manage the forging equipment to create high-quality components, ensuring production efficiency and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining forging machinery, monitoring processes to ensure product quality, adhering to standard procedures, and troubleshooting equipment issues. Collaboration with team members to optimize forging operations and maintain a safe, productive work environment will be integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining steam forging equipment and related machinery
- Knowledge of material properties, metallurgy, and forging techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with technical teams
- Experience in manufacturing or metal forging is preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia
- Technical diploma or relevant certifications in mechanical or industrial engineering fields are a plus
