Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java-based applications and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) — including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.
Build and integrate microservices that support scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, and Product) to ensure timely delivery of features.
Implement unit testing, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues when necessary.
Work with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis) for asynchronous communication between services.
Optimize application performance through JVM tuning and database optimization.
Use CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, TeamCity) for continuous integration and deployment.
Apply Spring Security and industry best practices to ensure secure application design.
Collaborate in an Agile environment using Jira and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer or Backend Engineer.
Strong understanding of Core Java, OOP, and Spring Boot Framework.
Hands‑on experience with RESTful API design and microservice architecture.
Familiarity with batch processing, Spring Security, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Experience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Splunk) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
