Responsibilities:

As an Import Operation Controller Staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and compliant flow of imported goods into our supply chain. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and processing all import documentation, including customs clearance, shipping paperwork, and invoicing.
  • Liaising with external freight forwarders and logistics partners to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with trade laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
  • Providing administrative support to the import division and other related departments.
  • Managing shipping documentation and filing systems accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in import operations. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an import role, preferably within the retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of import procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Solid knowledge of international trade, taxation, and transportation of goods.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and strong problem-solving skills.
