Requirements:

  • You're a proven YouTube creative who has led or played a major role in growing successful channels or long-form media
  • You're YouTube-obsessed and deeply understand platform culture, algorithm trends, viral formats, and retention-driven storytelling
  • You have a visionary eye for storytelling and know how to turn ideas into emotionally gripping, educational, or entertaining content
  • You're a strong communicator who can confidently lead creative discussions, give feedback, and rally a team around a shared vision
  • You're a hands-on leader who loves collaborating closely with editors, designers, and writers to make every detail shine
  • You understand the importance of thumbnails, titles, CTR optimization, and audience retention
  • You're comfortable with AI tools and staying current with emerging creative technologies
  • You have experience with storyboarding, sound design, music editing, color grading, and copywriting
  • You're data-driven and use analytics to guide creative decisions and improve video performance
  • You're equally creative and operational—this role is 50% creative vision, 50% project management

Responsibilities:

  • Develop world-class video concepts, scripts, thumbnails, and titles in collaboration with Christian
  • Own the production calendar and coordinate between editors, animators, producers, and external partners
  • Oversee post-production by reviewing all cuts, giving structured feedback, and ensuring brand alignment
  • Lead brand development for "Lost 2.0" and maintain high standards for storytelling, pacing, and visuals
  • Track video performance and audience engagement, providing insights to guide future creative decisions
  • Experiment with thumbnails and titles post-publish to maximize video performance
  • Identify highlight moments from long-form videos and repurpose them into short-form content with support from the junior editor
  • Stay current with AI tools and leverage them to enhance creative workflows without losing focus on the mission
  • Manage the full content pipeline from concept to upload, ensuring every video is world-class and on time
  • Help achieve ambitious growth targets: 500K views per video within 3 months, 1M views within 6 months
