About the Job

We are looking for talented engineers to apply their knowledge and experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering. If you have experience researching and developing new product concepts, designing and prototyping systems and components, as well as reviewing and improving existing products, you are the right person for us.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain quality standards on all products to ensure manufacturing with zero defect methodology, along with required process documentation.
  • Identify lean and continuous improvement to existing processes and tooling related to current product lines with regard to cost, quality, and/or design.
  • Identify and investigate potential new tooling concepts and processes.
  • Analyze Moldflow simulation results, implement the solution in a new mold, define the molding process window, and make injection setting parameters based on scientific calculation.
  • Manage the technical part and mold tuning loops from Off Tool to Initial samples and manage the molding DoE.
  • Provide support on new product tooling launch and process at each milestone through production, providing the manufacturing and engineering inputs for the development of new processes, parts, and tooling.
  • Define and implement measurable improvements in materials, designs, and processes.
  • Define and duplicate the process window to ensure reliable and robust part validation and production.
Requirements
  • Candidates must have at least a Diploma degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in manufacturing, tooling, and product development.
  • Experience in plastic molding and tooling engineering.
  • Experience with Autodesk Moldflow Simulation and Analysis.
  • Experience with the Design of Experiments (DoE) and validation protocol (IQ, OQ, and PQ).
  • Accurate, high attention-to-detail, tactful, fast learner and highly organized.
  • Proactive and persistent team player with a strong passion for collaborative design.
  • Good interpersonal, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Superb creativity, logic, vision, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English, oral and written.
  • Willing to work in Salatiga.
