Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and control strategies to meet or exceed industry standards
  • Overseeing quality control inspections, testing procedures, and documentation throughout the production and distribution lifecycle
  • Identifying and addressing quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to optimize production workflows and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Driving a culture of quality-focused and continuous improvement
  • Conduct, prepare & overseeing audit process & reporting
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and company's quality policies
  • Prepare annual budgeting for QAC activities

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of proven experience in quality assurance and control, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, process improvement methodologies, and industry best practices
  • Strong technical expertise in quality control principles, statistical process control, and data analysis
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of driving quality-focused cultural change and continuous improvement
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related discipline
