Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and control strategies to meet or exceed industry standards
- Overseeing quality control inspections, testing procedures, and documentation throughout the production and distribution lifecycle
- Identifying and addressing quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures
- Collaborating cross-functionally to optimize production workflows and eliminate inefficiencies
- Driving a culture of quality-focused and continuous improvement
- Conduct, prepare & overseeing audit process & reporting
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and company's quality policies
- Prepare annual budgeting for QAC activities
Requirements:
- 8+ years of proven experience in quality assurance and control, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
- Extensive knowledge of quality management systems, process improvement methodologies, and industry best practices
- Strong technical expertise in quality control principles, statistical process control, and data analysis
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of driving quality-focused cultural change and continuous improvement
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related discipline
