We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support & System Administrator to manage our IT infrastructure, provide technical support to employees, and ensure the security and reliability of our systems. This role combines hands-on technical work with strategic IT initiatives to keep our business running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and optimize IT systems, hardware, software, and network devices (servers, routers, switches, firewalls, CCTV, access doors, etc.).
- Provide timely first- and second-level support for hardware, software, applications, and network issues (onsite and remote).
- Manage installations, configurations, updates, and asset inventories, ensuring compliance with software licensing.
- Implement and monitor IT security measures, conduct vulnerability scans, and support disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure reliable data backup and recovery processes, with regular validation tests.
- Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and generate system performance/incident reports.
- Recommend and implement innovative IT solutions to improve efficiency.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of proven experience in IT Support, IT Maintenance, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
- Proficiency in computer networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi) and network devices.
- Familiarity with computer hardware (PCs, servers, printers) and effective troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to perform software installation and configuration efficiently.
- Fundamental knowledge of IT security principles (antivirus, firewall).
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, MCSA) are a definite plus.
