  • We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Testing engineer to join this role that is responsible for working in the Vehicle Validation from Customer Perspective process and maintaining its integrity so that it is recognized as a valued part of the Program Quality Plan for all vehicles we launch
  • Manage ESP or VF driver in terms of testing plan, testing progress and testing result
  • Testing vehicle & Issue management on Jira platform
  • Manage change content & Technical specification on Team Center & Code Beamer

1. Develop customer usage profile and perform full vehicle quality checks for the test driver team

  • Develop customer usage profile & test case based on feature list & user manual & VOC for Indonesia market
  • Analyze Vehicle feature and engineering change content impacting to customer. Provide training of new program/new change content to driver
  • Vehicle sign-off and pre-check before test from Indonesia plant

2. Basic vehicle issue analysis

  • Plan, coordinate and join test with Driver to evaluate vehicle on public road under customer use case
  • Basic data analysis for daily incident raising by driver. Raise ticket to capture issue on VF Problem Solving system & perform additional test to support root cause analysis
  • Issue follow up with cross function team. Verify solution to close issue with testing data and evidence
  • To analyze Voice of customer and field issues across market to see trend of market. Coordinating to dive preventive action from CTF team by enhancing test capability
  • Ensure that all section reports are prepared timely and accurate manner and meet VF's requirements, policies, and quality standards
  • Co-operate with other parties involved to solve problems
  • Training new team members to catch up on work

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics, Automotive Electronics, or equivalent
  • 5–7 years of experience in Vehicle Automotive & Quality (preferably with 5 years in Fleet & open-road testing)Solid knowledge of Electric Vehicles, including Electrical & Electronics, Automotive Electronics, or ADAS; strong background in EV testing & validation
  • Proficient with data logger tools: CANoe, Vector, Influx logger
  • High responsiveness, agility, discipline, and willingness to take responsibility & learn
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Good written and verbal communication in English
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; experience in root cause analysis & corrective action implementation
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Open to working between Indonesia plant and Jakarta, and willing to travel internationally for project-related tasks or training
  • Mandatory valid driver's license (Class B or higher) in Indonesia
  • Ability to read function specifications and derive test cases from them
  • Proficient in testing and inspection methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of regional electrical regulations & standards in Indonesia; good understanding of local customer expectations, traffic behavior, and geography to develop customer use cases
