We are seeking a Database Security Administrator with strong expertise in database encryption and security, particularly using Thales encryption solutions.
This role is responsible for securing enterprise database environments, ensuring compliance with data protection standards, and acting as a technical counterpart to customers in database security discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage database encryption solutions using Thales (CipherTrust).
- Configure and maintain Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), column-level encryption, and data-in-transit encryption (SSL/TLS).
- Conduct database security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and access control reviews.
- Act as a technical counterpart for customers, providing expert guidance and discussion on database security design, best practices, and encryption implementation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (security, infrastructure, and development) to ensure data protection across all environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Willing to be located in Bandung and comfortable working in FSI sector
- Minimum 2 years of experience in database administration or database security.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) is a must
- Hands-on experience implementing encryption solutions using Thales (CipherTrust)
- Strong understanding of database encryption techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in explaining technical database security concepts to customers.
