E-Commerce Operations Assistant

Location: Indonesia

Language Requirement: Mandarin, English, Indonesian (Fluent)

Job Responsibilities

  • Cross-Team Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the communication bridge between the China headquarters and the Indonesia local team, providing daily translation (Mandarin Indonesian/English) for meetings, documents, and real-time messages.

  • Assist in communication among the livestreaming team, short video content team, and KOL/creator BD team, ensuring consistent execution and smooth workflow.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, project tracking sheets, and action plans.

  • Content & Translation Support

  • Translate and localize short video scripts, product selling points, ad copies, and related materials to ensure natural and culturally appropriate language for the Indonesian market.

  • Assist in checking video subtitles, copywriting, and livestream scripts for accuracy and marketing effectiveness.

  • E-Commerce Operations Assistance

  • Understand e-commerce operational logic and support in tracking store activities, traffic campaigns, promotion plans, and execution status.

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing market feedback, creator performance data, and video metrics to support content optimization.
  • Provide support for daily spreadsheet management, product listing translations, and updates to pricing/promotion schedules.

  • KOL & Vendor Communication

  • Support the KOL/creator BD team in communicating collaboration details with Indonesian creators (content requirements, shooting schedules, product delivery, settlement process, etc.).

  • Handle basic business communication, information confirmation, and issue coordination.

  • Other Ad-Hoc Support

  • Assist the e-commerce lead or project manager with other cross-language and cross-team communication tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Language Skills

    • Excellent proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Indonesian, with the ability to perform accurate and fluent interpretation and written translation in both directions.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian internet slang, social media trends, and local online expressions is a plus.

  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or above in any major; candidates from Language, Marketing, E-Commerce, Communication, and related fields are preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in cross-border e-commerce, content, marketing, or live-streaming is preferred (outstanding fresh graduates are also welcome).
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada), including operational logic and content conversion mechanisms.

  • Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Office / Google Workspace / spreadsheet and documentation tools.

  • Able to efficiently take meeting minutes and organize operational data.
  • Strong logical thinking and project execution capability with the ability to quickly understand business objectives.

  • Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills, high sense of responsibility, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced, cross-cultural work environment.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accuracy and progress across multiple teams.
  • Interest in short videos, e-commerce trends, and social media platforms.
