Job Summary
:
To bridge the gap between client performance campaigns (especially on TikTok), website tracking, and data analytics. You will interpret the TikTok algorithm/ads ecosystem, ensure tracking (pixels, APIs) is accurately implemented on client websites, synchronize data flows, and deliver insights to optimise ROAS and conversion performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, manage and optimise tracking pixels and APIs (TikTok Pixel, website events, conversion endpoints).
- Translate into actionable website/landing-page tracking strategy.
- Integrate client websites with ad platforms and analytics tools: ensure data flows from website → tracking layer → ad platform → analytics dashboard.
- Work with web development team to ensure proper tagging, event standardisation (e.g., pageview, add-to-cart, purchase), data layer setup, and server-side or client-side tracking as needed.
- Analyse data from campaigns and website events, create reports showing how algorithm/ads → website behaviour → conversion, and present to clients.
- Troubleshoot tracking issues, data discrepancies, and ensure tracking integrity (data accuracy, minimal event loss).
- Maintain documentation of tracking setups, data pipelines, APIs, tag management, and performance benchmarks.
- Stay updated on TikTok algorithm updates, ads product changes, tracking/attribution best practices, and advise clients accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing operations, web development, analytics, and client-service teams to deliver integrated tracking & performance solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing technology, ad tech, performance marketing or tracking/analytics implementation.
- Hands-on with tracking and analytics tools (TikTok Pixel, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics/GA4, etc.).
- Experience implementing website tracking (pixels/events), API integrations, conversion modelling, data flows.
- Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript), at least basic understanding of server-side implementation/tracking.
- Strong analytical skills: able to interpret campaign and website data, draw insights regarding algorithm/ads optimisation, conversion paths.
- Good communication skills: able to explain tracking/tech setups to clients, marketing teams, non-technical stakeholders.
- Up-to-date with digital advertising ecosystem, algorithm changes (especially TikTok), privacy/attribution/tracking issues.
