Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation and imaging technologies within the hospital. The Medical Physicist supports diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by conducting equipment calibration, radiation dose monitoring, and quality assurance testing. Provides technical expertise to doctors and radiology staff in optimizing imaging quality while maintaining radiation safety standards. Also responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing best practices in radiation protection for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Medical Physics
  • Certified or licensed as a Medical Physicist (if required by local regulations)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of radiation physics, dosimetry, and quality control procedures
  • Familiar with radiology and radiotherapy equipment calibration and safety standards
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
