- Electrical Technician (Experienced)
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, driven, and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for you to further your expertise in the field, particularly in the defense and national security sector.
In this role, you will work with the Technical Engineer for the installation, maintenance, and repair and assembly of naval navigation and optronics systems, as well as undergo regular training in office and on sites out-of-town (travel is required in this case). During the course of work, you will be able to gain more experience in a fast-paced, problem-solving oriented environment.
Key responsibilities
Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment.
Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment as needed.
Qualifications
Gender & Age: Male, 22-27 years old.
Education: Vocational School (SMK) diploma in Electrical Engineering from a reputable institution.
Score: Minimum score of 80 (on a 100 scale).
Experience: At least 3 years of prior work experience in the field is required.
Certification(s): Having a K3 (Keselamatan and Kesehatan Kerja) Certificate is preferable.
Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
Ability to read and understand electrical system design plans and recommend improvements.
Strong communication skills and ability work well with a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Physically fit for labour.
Technical Engineer (Entry Level)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and driven Technical Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to kick-start their career in the field.
In this role, you will provide installation, maintenance, and repair of naval navigation and optronics systems, as well as undergo regular training in office and on sites out-of-town (travel is required in this case). During the course of work, you will be able to gain more experience in a fast-paced, problem-solving oriented environment.
Key responsibilities
Testing newly installed systems.
Providing technical support to clients and troubleshooting system issues.
Collaborating with overseas counterparts.
Documenting technical processes and creating user manuals and other technical documentation, including test reports.
Qualifications
Gender & Age: Male, 22 – 25 years old
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from a reputable university
GPA: A minimum GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale)
Experience: 1-2 years of prior work experience is preferred, but fresh or recent graduates with strong academic performance and project experience are encouraged to apply
Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles.
Proficiency with engineering software or tools such as CAD software, MATLAB, circuit simulation tools, programming languages like Python or C++.
