NATIONAL SALES MANAGER

Our company was established since 40 years ago, with 1000 employees and our business is in manufacturing, selling, marketing, distributing pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, baby products and chemical ingredients/raw materials products of bakery, food & beverage, retail, water treatment, pharma & cosmetics. We have several branch offices in all big cities throughout Indonesia.
As a National Sales Manager, you should use your creativity and thorough knowledge of sales processes to provide innovative ideas for business growth. Communication and team management skills are also essential for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Leading nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Managing organizational sales by developing annual and short term business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
- Lead a sales team by providing guidance, training and mentorship, setting/tracking individual sales targets and goals, creating sales plans, analyzing data, assigning sales territories, building their team and reporting results as necessary.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
- Lead, motivate, direct, develop, train and coach the sales team in order to deliver performance targets; accountable for continuous improvement of team selling skills and product knowledge.
- Develop and manage sales plans, goals, and associated activities to achieve company revenue and profit targets.
- Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Tracking and reporting sales plan progress to management.
- Participation in planning and implementation of Marketing Plans.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduated Bachelor/Master degree in marketing, chemical ingredients, Pharmacy/Apoteker, MBA and other.
- Proven work experience minimum 10 years as a National Sales Manager in Bakery, Food, Pharma, Cosmetic ingredients or retail, distribution industry would be an advantage.
- Experience in managing a high performance sales team.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent knowledge of English verbally and in writing.
- Strong sense of integrity, honest, credible.
