PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (COATING) – ROLE OVERVIEW
The Production Supervisor (Coating) plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality production operations in our coating process. This position is key to leading teams, managing performance, and maintaining excellence across all production lines — while driving continuous improvement and operational discipline.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Production Leadership & Execution
- Supervise and coordinate daily coating production activities.
- Ensure production output meets quality standards, yield targets, and productivity goals.
- Maintain smooth workflow across all shifts and production lines.
2. Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Implement and uphold ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and CPAKB standards.
- Ensure safety protocols are consistently followed across the team.
- Conduct regular inspections and monitor compliance in all production areas.
3. Troubleshooting & Process Improvement
- Respond to production issues, including coating defects and machine abnormalities.
- Analyze root causes and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support yield improvement, downtime reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
4. People Management & Development
- Lead, train, and evaluate Operators and Setters.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and guidance to strengthen team performance.
- Ensure proper manpower allocation according to operational needs.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit daily production reports to the Section Head and Manager.
- Maintain accurate records related to production performance and quality metrics.
- Support adherence to 5R and company production standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).
Experience
- Minimum
1 year
experience in a similar supervisory role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma is a plus.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to guide teams effectively.
