This role will be more similar to a messenger or export sprinter, responsible for delivering documents, this role requires you to be frequently mobile on the road, primarily using a motorcycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and verify export documents (invoice, packing list, COO, BL, etc.) in alignment with shipping and country requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Liaise with Operations via PPIC to collect and confirm shipment details including volume, weight, and packaging specs.

  • Track shipment timelines and ensure all required documentation and communication are completed prior to vessel cut-off dates.

  • Collecting, submitting, and retrieving export documents required to be delivered to the relevant service providers — such as shipping company offices, KADIN, and Embassies — either directly or through a third party when necessary.

  • Conducting regular on-site visits to container depots or shipping lines to inspect and select containers to be used.

  • Conduct basic checks for compliance (HS codes, country-specific documentation), escalating issues to Export Coordinator as needed.

  • Monitor and record container status (stuffing, gate-in, ETD, ETA) and flag delays proactively.

  • Maintain export logbooks and shipment fulfillment report (shipment date, documents sent, customer details, etc.).

  • File and organize digital and physical documentation by shipment for audit readiness and traceability.

  • Gather data and assist Export Coordinator in preparing shipment performance reports (accuracy, timeliness, volume trends).

  • Identify and correct basic discrepancies (e.g., item names, quantities, typographical errors) before final submission.

  • Attend relevant export, compliance, or trade regulation training; suggest small process improvements.

  • Support issuance of proof of shipment, reminders for payment collection, and customer document confirmation follow-up.

Requirements:

  • Minimum D3 or Bachelor's degree (S1) in International Business, Logistics, Business Management, Supply Chain, or related fields.

  • 1–2 years of work experience, preferably in export-related roles.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

  • Strong attention to detail, communication, coordination, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia (written & spoken); English proficiency (intermediate–advanced) for export communication and documentation.

  • Relevant certifications in Export-Import, Customs, or International Trade are a plus.

  • Possessing a valid Class C driver's license (SIM C) and a personal motorcycle for mobility.

  • Willing to be based in Semarang and available for overtime or tight shipping deadlines, including during holidays.
