About the role
PT FHG TEKSTIL INDONESIA' is seeking an experienced Exim Officer to join our team in Demak, Central Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the company's import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimising logistical efficiency.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating the import and export of goods, including processing documentation, arranging transportation, and liaising with customs authorities
- Monitoring and analysing market trends to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings
- Ensuring all import and export activities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations
- Developing and implementing strategies to streamline logistics and improve supply chain efficiency
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address operational challenges
- Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for management
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Exim Officer or freight/cargo forwarding role
- Thorough understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and logistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise logistics and identify efficiencies
- Proficient in using relevant software and technology to manage operations
- Flexible and adaptable to handle the dynamic nature of the freight/cargo forwarding industry
