Position: Korean–English–Bahasa Interpreter / Research Assistant (Contract-Based)

Employment Type: Contract (1-year renewable, depending on performance and project needs)


Responsibilities
  • Interpret during meetings or as needed, and translate documents between Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Korean.
  • Provide data and analysis on Indonesia's environmental conditions, policies, market status and prospects, and other related socio-economic areas.
  • Liaise between the Indonesian government, the Korean government, and private companies to facilitate environmental cooperation.
  • Identify potential bilateral cooperation projects in Indonesia, especially in drinking water, waste treatment (waste-to-energy), and wastewater/sewage treatment sectors.
  • Act as a local PR representative to promote Korea's environmental technology and share Korea's policy experiences.
  • Organize and coordinate events such as government meetings, stakeholder conferences, and training seminars.
  • Prepare annual and monthly activity reports in Korean, English, and Bahasa Indonesia.

Requirements
  • Indonesian citizen (male/female).
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any field (a related field or higher degree will be an advantage).
  • Full professional proficiency in Korean and English; experience as a Korean interpreter is preferred.
  • Proven ability in research, analysis, and report writing in Korean and English.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
