The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Engineer to lead our market entry and growth in
Indonesia
. Based in Jakarta, your primary mission will be to establish and expand our sales operations, focusing on our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions for the nation's vital Utility and Oil & Gas sectors.

While the initial focus is on dominating the Indonesian market, success in this role will present opportunities for expanded responsibilities across the wider ASEAN region. The ideal candidate is a "Deal Maker" with a deep understanding of the local industrial landscape and the technical nuances of critical reserve power.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crucial:
    Proactively conducting client visits as part of an intensive travel schedule and successfully closing sales opportunities through rigorous follow-up.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to establish a strong market presence and achieve ambitious growth targets within
    Indonesia
    .
  • Build a robust sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing key projects and high-value customers in the Indonesian Utility and Oil & Gas industries.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and technical consultation to complex negotiations and deal closure.
  • Establish and cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including end-users, EPC contractors, and system integrators.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and market analysis to guide business strategy.
  • Serve as the key technical and commercial point of contact for clients, demonstrating deep product and application knowledge.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Crucial:
    Deep technical sales experience with
    industrial-grade, high-power UPS systems
    and custom AC/DC power solutions for mission-critical applications.
  • Direct experience and an established professional network within the Indonesian
    Utility
    and/or
    Oil & Gas
    sectors.
  • A proven and demonstrable track record of sales success in a B2B technical sales environment, specifically within Indonesia.
  • A background working with highly engineered power electronics is essential. Experience with the project sales cycles and technical standards common to leading
    European-manufactured industrial power systems will be a significant advantage.
  • Mandatory fluency in
    English
    (written and verbal). Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is a must.
  • Willingness and ability to
    travel frequently
    within Indonesia, with potential for occasional travel within the ASEAN region.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Jakarta, Indonesia.
