Position Overview

We are seeking a highly responsible and compliance-oriented
HR Leader

to lead all Human Resources operations for Karofi Indonesia.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring
compliance, control, and discipline

within the organization, while managing the full spectrum of HR functions — including
recruitment, C&B, employee relations, training, and administration

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of
Indonesian labor law

, hands-on experience in
policy enforcement and organizational control

, and a structured, detail-driven working style.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Compliance & Control

● Ensure full compliance with Indonesian labor laws, BPJS, tax, and internal company policies.

● Establish and enforce HR policies, internal controls, and disciplinary procedures.

● Manage employee relations cases, investigations, and documentation of disciplinary actions.

● Conduct periodic internal HR audits and risk assessments.

2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning

● Lead end-to-end recruitment: manpower planning, sourcing, interviews, and onboarding.

● Build and maintain a qualified talent pipeline for sales, retail, and technical functions.

● Manage partnerships with recruitment agencies, job boards, and universities.

● Ensure all recruitment practices meet compliance and fairness standards.

3. Compensation & Benefits (C&B)

● Supervise payroll processing, attendance tracking, and benefits administration. Review salary structures, incentive schemes, and annual adjustments.

● Ensure accuracy and compliance in BPJS, tax, and statutory contributions.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

● Act as the main HR contact for employee concerns, grievances, and workplace discipline.

● Promote transparent communication and a positive working environment.

● Organize internal engagement and cultural development activities.

5. Training & Development

● Coordinate training programs to enhance compliance, leadership, and job skills.

● Identify training needs and work with HQ to develop appropriate learning plans.

● Support performance evaluation and career development processes.

6. HR Administration & Reporting

● Maintain updated personnel records, contracts, and HR databases.

● Prepare monthly HR reports and compliance updates for HQ.

● Manage local HR vendors and ensure all documentation meets audit requirements.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree or higher in
Human Resources, Law, or Business Administration

● Minimum
7 years of HR experience

, including
3 years in a managerial role

● Strong understanding of
Indonesian labor law, BPJS, and employment compliance

Proven experience in
recruitment, C&B, and employee relations

within start-up

company

● Excellent communication in
English

● High integrity, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
