About the role

One of our core business areas focuses on the Water Treatment industry, serving factories across diverse sectors such as steel, food & beverages, textiles, paper, cement, power plants, mining, and more.

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving our business development initiatives. This full-time position, based in Cilegon, Banten, requires combining technical expertise with strong sales skills to identify opportunities, develop client relationships, and secure new projects that contribute to the company's growth and success.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop new business opportunities, especially in water-intensive industries.
  • Understand clients' technical needs and challenges through site visits and discussions.
  • Prepare and present tailored technical solutions and proposals.
  • Recommend chemical and technical solutions for water treatment systems.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to ensure smooth and effective project execution.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide post-sales support.
  • Stay updated on market trends and innovations in the water treatment industry.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Industrial/Metallurgical/Environmental Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in water treatment or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment chemicals, systems, and processes.
  • Solution and target-oriented with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with strong connections within industrial markets preferred.
  • Familiar with B2B, BUMN, and EPC procurement processes.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English (spoken and written).
  • Willing to travel as needed for business purposes.
  • Familiarity with Canva or basic design tools will be an advantage.
