About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join our team at PT Berkah Bekasi Ops' in Karawang, West Java. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of our company.
What you'll be doing
- Calculating and processing employee payroll, including salaries, deductions, and benefits
- Maintaining accurate employee records and payroll data
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
- Resolving payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees
- Collaborating with the finance team to reconcile payroll accounts and generate reports
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll-related documents and tax filings
- Continuously improving payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws and payroll regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications
- Effective communication skills to interact with employees and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee information
