Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Business Analyst IT (Insurance/Banking) will be responsible for analyzing and documenting the business requirements of insurance and banking clients, translating the requirements into functional specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of successful solutions within budget. The Business Analyst IT (Insurance/Banking) will also be responsible for managing change requests, organizing and facilitating meetings, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a business analyst in the
    banking or insurance industry
  • A solid understanding of the business processes and workflows in the
    insurance and banking industry
  • Experience in requirements gathering, functional specifications, and testing in a software development environment
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements, propose innovative solutions, and create clear and concise documentation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively
  • Experience in Agile and SDLC methodologies is a plus
  • Experience in using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia both written and spoken is a plus
  • Has experience in INSURANCE/BANKING is a must (Mandatory)
  • Willing to work (WFO) at Jakarta

Requirement

  • Collaborated with cross-functional Agile Scrum teams to gather and analyze business requirements for IT projects
  • Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring the team followed Agile principles and delivered high-quality software.
  • Worked closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that user stories aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborated with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories, providing input on effort estimation and assisting in creating sprint commitments.
  • Perform testing activities, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high software quality (Unit Testing, Regression Testing, Sanity Testing)
  • Conducted SIT and UAT to validate that developed features met the acceptance criteria and aligned with business requirements.
  • Utilized Agile project management tools (Click Up and Spira), to manage the product backlog, track user stories, create BRD and Test Case, and monitor project progress.
