Job Title: Training Manager

Job Summary:

The
Training Manager
is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs that enhance the knowledge and skills of staff and stakeholders. This role oversees the full training cycle—from needs assessment, curriculum development, and facilitation to evaluation—to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of learning initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.
  • Design and develop comprehensive training curricula and materials tailored to organizational and project needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement training programs for staff and field personnel.
  • Supervise and support training facilitators to ensure quality and consistency in delivery.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements for future programs.
  • Maintain documentation and reports related to training implementation and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with project teams, external partners, and government institutions to align training with program objectives.
  • Manage training budgets and logistics efficiently.
  • Stay updated with current training methodologies and digital learning tools.
  • Ensure that all training programs support the organization's mission, goals, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Education, Public Health, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience
    in training management, capacity building, or adult learning programs.
  • Proven ability to
    develop training curricula and modules
    based on organizational and programmatic needs.
  • Excellent
    English communication skills
    (both written and verbal).
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience in
    monitoring and evaluating
    training outcomes.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft Office Suite
    and digital learning tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Canva, or LMS platforms).
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in NGO or development settings is an advantage.
