Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Perishable Merchandising/Buyer located in Surabaya, East Java Area. The responsibilities include managing, developing and selecting perishable goods for purchase, monitoring stock levels, ensuring the quality and freshness of products, negotiating with suppliers, and developing strategies to maximize sales and profitability. The position requires collaboration with store managers and other team members to ensure effective merchandising and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Experience in perishable goods buying or merchandising
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Analytical skills to develop sales and profitability strategies
- Ability to work on-site in Surabaya
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus
