The Assistant Finance Manager will support the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial health of the organization. This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, assisting in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or a related field and at least 5 years of related work experience.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
  • Ability to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Project‑oriented, with strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CPA, CMA or CIA are a plus.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare a detailed commission to Referral and process the commission payment to Referrals and book it in the system.
  • Prepare the invoice and detail of brokerage fee and additional brokerage fee and send it to Insurance Partners.
  • Identify and record every money that goes into the company's bank accounts related to brokerage fee and additional brokerage fee.
  • Monitor and follow up closely the aging of Receivable on brokerage fee and additional brokerage fee.
  • Prepare detailed withholding tax on Referrals commission and submit it to Tax Consultant and process the payment to Tax Offices.
  • Prepare journal entries required for month‑end closing (e.g. Prepaid Expense amortization, accruals of General Expenses).
  • Assist in managing the Company's Assets and ensure the purchase of assets are registered in the system and run monthly depreciation.
  • Prepare a monthly balance sheet schedule and ensure the details are matched with the balance sheet amounts.
  • Monitor the suspense and contra accounts and ensure the balance is zero (all money received and spent are settled).
  • Prepare OJK Report.
  • Prepare OJK Quarterly Financial Statement.
  • Prepare OJK Annual Audited Financial Statement.
  • Prepare OJK Business Plan (related to Financial Data).
  • Prepare OJK Business Plan Realization (related to Financial Data).
  • Prepare annual Corporate Income Tax calculation and complete the Corporate Income Tax form (SPT PPh Badan).
  • Assist with external audit (local & regional) process (e.g. providing the requested documents, attending to auditors queries, etc.).
  • Take care of ad‑hoc projects or tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy with at least 5 years of full set accounting and tax experience.
  • Accounting and tax experience with brokerage/insurance is highly desired.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Hands‑on, excellent attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English.
