About the role
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operation SeaFreight Forwarding Export professional to join our fast-paced team at PT. RSL Logistics Indonesia. In this full-time role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely movement of cargo by sea, ensuring our customers' shipments are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
What you'll be doing
- Responsible for booking shipments with shipping lines and monitoring the gate-in process of containers at the port. Ensure that all shipments gate-in in timely manner , and managing relationships with shipping lines and other logistics providers.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of pre- shipping documents (Gate Pass, PEB, COO & Bon Muat ).
- Pro-active to Check and confirm the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) of vessels and monitor any second connecting vessels. about any potential delays or changes to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Need to coordinate with Vendor such us Trucking, Custom Clearance Broker, Etc
- Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices. Maintain accurate records for audit and reporting purposes.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a similar sea freight forwarding role, with a proven track record of success
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, shipping lines, and other logistics partners
- Proficient in using logistics ERP software and other relevant advanced tools
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
