OverviewPosition: Guest Service Officer (Telephone Operator)
Responsibilities- Handle all incoming and outgoing calls with professional and courteous telephone etiquette.
- Direct calls to the appropriate guests and departments accurately and efficiently.
- Manage guest requests made via telephone, including wake-up calls and room service orders.
- Act as a central communication hub for the hotel, especially during emergency situations.
- Provide guests with information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Previous experience as a Telephone Operator or in a similar guest service role in a hotel.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- A clear, pleasant, and professional speaking voice.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls in a calm and efficient manner.
- Strong customer service skills and a patient demeanor.
- Proficiency with a multi-line phone system (PABX).
- Must be well-organized and reliable.
