Oversee the performance of mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, motors, gears, conveyors, kilns, dryers) and electrical systems (e.g., power panels, lighting, sensors, inverters) in the production area. Ensure the reliability and functionality of utility systems such as compressed air, water, steam, and electricity.
Maintenance & Repair ManagementPlan and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all M&E equipment. Develop maintenance schedules and coordinate shutdown plans with production. Respond promptly and effectively to equipment breakdowns and failures.
Technical Project CoordinationSupport installation, relocation, or upgrading of production machinery and systems. Collaborate with project teams during equipment commissioning and performance evaluations.
Team LeadershipLead and supervise mechanical and electrical technicians in daily tasks. Provide training and guidance to technicians and operators as needed.
Cost Control & Power EfficiencyMonitor energy consumption and usage of production support materials. Propose and implement energy‑saving and cost‑reduction initiatives.
Compliance with Safety and RegulationsEnsure all M&E activities comply with workplace safety standards (e.g., OSHA, local HSE regulations) and technical regulations (e.g., SNI, PUIL). Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation and inspection records.
Reporting and DocumentationPrepare weekly and monthly reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance activities. Maintain and update technical drawings, manuals, and maintenance logs.
QualificationsMinimum S1 (Associate/Bachelor's degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics. Minimum 3 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in ceramic tile manufacturing or a similar heavy industry. Strong understanding of ceramic tile production processes and supporting systems (e.g., kilns, spray dryers, press machines).
