We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Application DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in DevOps practices and hands‑on experience integrating SAP systems with microservices applications, including API management and orchestration.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for scalable application deployment.
- Develop and support integration solutions between SAP (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA) and microservices-based applications.
- Manage and optimize API gateways, authentication, and traffic routing for internal and external services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of enterprise applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Maintain documentation for integration flows, API specifications, and DevOps processes.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a DevOps or Application Engineering role.
- Proven experience integrating SAP systems with microservices architectures using RESTful APIs, OData, SAP PI/PO, or SAP Gateway.
- Hands‑on experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Azure API Management, Swagger, Kong, or AWS API Gateway).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), and SAP BAP.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, message queuing, and service‑oriented architectures.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
