Duties:
- Monitor daily vessel operations (captain's reports, requisition lists, onboard inventories, voyage memos).
- Coordinate with Branch Heads, representatives, and port agents regarding vessel arrival/departure, loading/unloading activities, and verification of vessel certificates and documents.
- Ensure voyage schedules are executed safely and efficiently in line with cargo supply.
- Supervise vessel operational costs in accordance with the budget and review performance from arrival to departure.
- Build and maintain strong cooperation with strategic partners at loading/unloading ports and government institutions.
- Prepare work plans, budgets, and realization reports (weekly, monthly, yearly) for the Operations Department.
- Oversee supplier payment processes and ensure proper financial documentation.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with Business Ethics, JSK HSE policies, and government regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective, efficient, and standardized vessel operations.
- Maintain smooth coordination with internal (Finance, Marketing, SMD) and external parties (agents, harbor masters, suppliers).
- Guarantee the completeness of operational documents, invoices, and financial reports.
- Support the Zero Accident target by implementing HSE standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (ANT 2) in Maritime Academy, Master's Degree (ANT 1) is preferred.
- 3 years of experience as Port Captain from Shipping Company or Shipping Agent.
- Strong knowledge of national & international maritime regulations (Shipping Act, SOLAS, ISM Code, Marpol).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia & English (active & passive).
- Strong strategic thinking, achievement-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
