We are seeking seasoned finance leaders to join as Head of Finance, Accounting, and Tax — key strategic partners responsible for shaping robust financial systems, driving operational excellence, and ensuring strong governance within their respective businesses.

As an experienced
Head of Finance, Accounting, and Tax,
you will lead the financial strategy and operations of the growing businesses. This role will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, and taxation, while serving as a key business partner to the CEO and leadership team in driving sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and sound governance. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic acumen and hands-on execution — someone who can strengthen financial control, optimize capital allocation, and ensure compliance, while supporting business expansion in a fast-paced consumer environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Financial Leadership

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team to support strategic decisions.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Oversee working capital management, cash flow optimization, and capital expenditure planning.

Accounting & Reporting

  • Supervise the end-to-end accounting cycle and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
  • Strengthen internal controls, accounting systems, and policies in line with best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.

Tax & Compliance

  • Oversee all tax matters including planning, compliance, and reporting (corporate, VAT, withholding, and transfer pricing).
  • Monitor regulatory updates and ensure adherence to local laws, financial regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Identify tax optimization opportunities without compromising compliance and integrity.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team to ensure excellence and professional growth.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional departments (operations, commercial, HR, etc.) to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with senior management to evaluate new business initiatives, partnerships, and investment opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, ideally in consumer-facing or multi-outlet businesses (e.g., retail, FMCG, healthcare, hospitality).
  • Proven track record in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, tax management, and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, problem-solving approach in dynamic, growth-stage environments.
