Results-driven Quality Assurance Engineer with strong experience in internal audit (process and product) and supplier audit is an advantage. Skilled in managing engineering changes (ECN, PCN, MCN), conducting defect analysis, and leading CAPA/PICA activities to ensure product reliability and compliance. Demonstrates solid negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills to enhance overall manufacturing and supplier performance while maintaining adherence to safety and company quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform line (process) and product audits to verify adherence to quality procedures and product specifications
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and supplier capability requirements.
- Conduct and follow up on CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) and PICA (Product Improvement Corrective Action) audits to ensure effective problem resolution.
- Manage and control engineering changes (ECN – Engineering Change Notice, PCN – Process Change Notice, MCN – Material Change Notice) to ensure proper documentation, validation, and implementation.
- Ensure capability studies are performed on critical processes to maintain process stability and capability.
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and review visual aids to confirm conformance to design and customer requirements.
- Conduct defect analysis reporting to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Perform MRB (Material Review Board) activities on sustained products, ensuring proper disposition and documentation of nonconforming materials.
- Participate in CAC (Corrective Action Committee) or continuous improvement meetings to support ongoing quality enhancement efforts.
- Assist Quality Engineering in APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities and documentation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Technical/Engineering fields.
- At least 4-5 years of working experience as a Auditor in the Aerospace or Automotive industries.
- Experience in conducting quality audits to assess compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Experience in quality assurance, with experience in quality control roles, including knowledge of measuring equipment and blueprint reading.
- Experience in Supplier Quality is an advantage, ability to manage and assess the quality of suppliers and their products, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Experience in the machining process, especially in a shop-floor-based quality role, is highly valued.
- Ability to use statistical tools and techniques to analyze data, identify trends, and drive quality improvements.
- Good in negotiation skill and communication skills (in Bahasa and English)
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems like ISO 9001 (AS9100 is an advantage
- Certifications like an Internal auditor or related to the Quality field can be beneficial.
