Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and contribute to the Plant's Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan in Research & Improvement
- Oversee key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis
- Design the overall Plant layout, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend and oversee changes as needed
- Develop the tools and processes for effective transportation of materials between various areas of the Plant to reduce time loss in material transportation
- Improvement Leadership: Under the guidance of the improvement plan, achieve awareness, understanding, acceptance, and commitment of continuous improvement from the Production team by introducing its concepts and benefits
- Improvement Technology: Under the guidance of the improvement plan, apply improvement tools and systems by implementing projects such as the one-piece-flow production line which have learnings scalable to all production lines
- Improvement Sharing: Work through the superior to share new knowledge and learnings through continuous improvement with the other Plants across the Group
- Projects Monitoring: Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring projects such as preparation of records of expenditures and research findings, progress reports, and staff conferences to inform management of current status of each project
- Project Evaluation: Working with the manufacturing, operations and quality manager, reviews and monitors quality and process improvements and new product development
Key Requirements:
- Experience in the same position and related field (Garment Industry) for minimum 5 years
- Bachelor's degree from Industrial Engineering
- Fluent spoken and written English, able to speak local language is a must
- Advance Computer Skill, capable of displaying the data well
