CFO — Restaurant
Role Summary
Lead the finance function to ensure liquidity, profitability, compliance and support growth and expansion.
Key responsibilities
- Financial strategy & planning: lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑term financial plans and capital allocation.
- Accounting & reporting: ensure accurate, timely financial statements and month/quarter/year-end close.
- Treasury & cash management: manage cash flow, bank relationships, working capital (AR/AP/inventory).
- Cost control & food costing: oversee recipe costing, inventory control, vendor negotiations and waste reduction.
- FP&A & performance: provide management reports, KPIs (sales/store, food cost%, labor%, EBITDA/store) and variance analysis.
- Controls & compliance: maintain internal controls, tax and regulatory compliance; manage audits.
- Systems & automation: improve ERP/POS/inventory integrations and financial reporting automation.
- Leadership: manage finance team, set KPIs, mentor staff; collaborate with operations, marketing and development.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA or professional qualification (CPA/CA) preferred.
- 10+ years finance experience, with 5+ years in senior/finance leadership; experience in multi‑unit F&B or retail strongly preferred.
- Strong skills in financial modeling, costing, ERP/POS, Excel and BI tools.
