SMSolar is a Renewable Energy Services Company (RESCO) focused on the development of solar PV systems (PLTS) in Indonesia. We provide solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy projects through consulting, engineering, procurement, construction, and financing. We are looking for a PV O&M Engineer for our existing and new projects. We welcome fresh graduates and will provide training to develop your career.
Requirements:
- D3 or Bachelor in Engineering
- Experience with solar PV installation/O&M
- Ability to understand project documentation such as as‑built drawings, electrical schematics, technical datasheets, user manuals, and HSSE rules
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa and English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work quickly under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team‑player who can work proactively under minimum supervision
- Knowledge of electric power, construction methods, building code, grid code, and government regulation is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Monitor solar PV plant performance on a regular basis
- Perform troubleshooting when faults, alarms, or damage occur in PV plants
- Plan and execute site‑specific preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance (periodic checks, inspections, module cleaning, troubleshooting, tools and manpower requirements, etc.)
- Work with technicians and workers during on‑site O&M activities
- Assist Project/PV Engineers in testing and commissioning to ensure a successful handover to the client
- Create and develop O&M manuals/SOPs, technical proposals, forms, and checklists
- Create and develop activity reports after O&M activities
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and SMSolar partners/vendors

Network Operations Center Engineer (Layer 1 NOC Engineer)Job Description:
As a Layer 1 NOC Engineer, you will monitor, identify, and perform initial troubleshooting of network and server infrastructure issues. You’ll execute basic diagnostics such as ping, traceroute, and port checks, and will escalates unresolved issues to higher‑tier teams with clear documentation. This role serves as the first line of defense to ensure service uptime and smooth network operations.
- Minimum Diploma degree in System Information or similar field
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Understanding of data center and cloud fundamentals
- Ability to identify, isolate, and escalates connectivity issues
- Knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching concepts
- Awareness of internet protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, etc.)
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki products and dashboard management
- Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Grafana or similar)
- Experience and ability to troubleshoot on wireless network infrastructure issues
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Willingness to work in shift system

Position Summary:
We are currently looking to hire a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, ensuring quality and reliability, and delivering continuous improvement through effective engineering solutions.
- Maximize equipment uptime to meet/exceed customer expectations and business goals through:
- Team engagement and development
- Collaboration with cross‑functional teams for continual improvement activities
- Ensuring the best‑in‑class maintenance program and equipment performance
- Provide engineering solutions to equipment reliability/quality issues through effective problem solving
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to equipment design/systems to deliver low‑cost maintenance and high reliability equipment
- Exercise project management methodology to meet safety/time/scope/cost performance in executing projects
- Manage budget and expenditures within the planned cost
- Compile and analyze maintenance and cost data for leading team meetings and other presentations
- Manage spare part inventory within the planned value and turns
- Maintain accurate spare part inventory, ensuring stock availability, and compliance with warehouse standards to support maintenance operations effectively
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in machinery, facility, and building maintenance, reverse engineering, and engineering projects within a similar industry
- Strong knowledge in safety for production machinery, building safety, and project‑related safety; certification preferred
- Strong understanding of maintenance and project management, with fluency in using project management software
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering and predictive maintenance
- Ability to read detailed technical drawings and operate AutoCAD
- Possesses good leadership, problem‑solving, technical, analytical, and reporting skills
- Able to lead a large group of craftsmen and develop people
- Computer literate and preferably able to operate CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Fluent in English communication (verbal and writing)
