Job Overview

We are seeking a
Business & Investment Analyst Officer
who will play a key role in leading CDI's fundraising and investment initiatives.

This role requires an analytical, execution-driven professional who can manage multiple ventures and investment processes simultaneously — from preparing financial models and investor decks to coordinating directly with startups, investors, and internal stakeholders.

You will act as the
primary point of contact
under the Director, taking ownership of the entire investment and fundraising workflow — from financial preparation to negotiation support and follow-up execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage
    pitch decks
    ,
    financial models
    ,
    projections
    , and
    budgets
    for multiple ventures and investment projects.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional efforts (Finance, HR, Unit Heads, and external stakeholders) to ensure smooth execution of investment and fundraising activities.
  • Organize and track investor meetings, due diligence, and pitching schedules.
  • Manage the
    fundraising and investment pipeline
    , including monitoring deal progress and status updates.
  • Conduct
    reviews and analyses
    of investment proposals, term sheets, and partnership opportunities from startups and potential collaborators.
  • Ensure every investment and fundraising process meets established standards, timelines, and strategic objectives.

General Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Economics
    ,
    Finance
    ,
    Management
    , or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 2–4 years
    of experience in
    investment analysis
    ,
    corporate finance
    , or
    business development
    — preferably in venture capital, private equity, or startup fundraising.
  • Strong capability in
    financial modeling

    valuation analysis
    , and
    data interpretation
    .
  • Proficient in
    Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
    ; familiarity with financial analysis or visualization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent
