Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accounting Supervisor, based in Surabaya. Cost Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing cost accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial performance. Daily tasks include managing accounting records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, conducting cost analysis, and providing strategic financial advice to enhance overall business operations.
Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Budgeting:
Creating and managing annual budgets, ensuring that expenses align with revenue goals. - Financial forecasting:
Predicting future financial performance based on historical data and current trends. - Cost-benefit analysis:
Evaluating the financial implications of potential projects or investments. - Accounting, Tax and Reporting
- Financial reporting:
Preparing and analyzing financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) for internal and external stakeholders. - Tax compliance:
Ensuring that the organization complies with all tax regulations and filing requirements. - Auditing:
Overseeing financial audits (from inside and or outside) to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records. - Cash flow management:
Monitoring and managing cash inflows and outflows to optimize liquidity. - Risk management:
Identifying and mitigating financial risks such as credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
- Qualified accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in cost accounting
- Proven track record in implementing effective cost management strategies and driving continuous improvement
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to present insights effectively
- Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
- Working knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor more junior staff
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Solid working experience as Finance & Accounting Manager for at least 3 years
- Having working experience in Manufacturing Industry and in KAP will be an advantage
- Willing to be placed in Surabaya
